It’s such a blessing… the kids… my job!  All of it!  And I try to thank God for it each day!  I had lots of fun with Claude, Edwin, Patsy & Estra!  Besides being beautiful children, they have GREAT personalities… a little shy at times and SO funny! 

I was reading a book a few weeks ago and there was a quote that is SO true!  I wanted to share it…  “The soul is healed by being with children.” ~Fyodor Dostoevsky  It reminded me of times in my life when I’ve been down and how my job has lifted me back up.  This was especially true when my Daddy was sick and then died…  My little clients were SO good for my soul! 

So today I challenge you to look at your life and those tiny blessings (the simplest of things… a clean kitchen, fresh cut grass, the sunshine!) and thank the Lord for them!

These two were so much fun!  I tried a few times to get them to show me their “serious faces”, but they would crack up every time… it was SO funny!  Well, I guess there is something magically serious about my front porch, because it came naturally out there…

Honestly, I feel even more blessed lately.  I could title every single preview as “Fun & Laughter”.  I’m blessed with a job where I can watch children and families grow and have fun with them!  And the Cox family is no exception.  I first photographed them almost 3 years ago and their family has now expanded to include Beau!  They all have such great personalities!  Thank you for sharing them with me, Charlotte!  I will have your gallery ready very soon!
