I had to share one shot of this little guy with you…  and of course, I can’t post it without talking about him.  I said "one word", but so many words come to mind…   miracle. blessing. sweetness. beauty. love.  Cohen was absolutely precious!  And he’s a reminder that our babies grow up so fast!  Thank you all for allowing me to capture your life… your Art!

It’s business as usual around here.  I’m proofing every chance I get.  Sadie is still keeping us busy.  {wink}  A huge thanks to Savannah & Alex… who are the BEST big brother and sister!

Shane and I shot a wedding on Saturday… it was beautiful!  Images to come!  I can’t believe that I first sat down with Krissy about 10 months ago to talk about her special day.  It’s more proof that time flies!  Capture the moments!

I was so excited to meet these two blue-eyed baby dolls!  Are they not precious?!?!  I had lots of fun with Ms H and Ms AG!  Thank you, Kristin for sharing them with me!

Just wanted to share one of my most recent favorites… I was excited about this shot as soon as I heard the shutter click!  Love that little finger in his mouth!

Lily turned 1 this month!  It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since we did her newborn session.  Wow.  Now we’re doing a birthday session!  And before we know it, I’ll be literally chasing after her while she runs and plays!

I’m realizing more and more how important it is to capture these moments.  In fact, I have a new shot of my 3 together… I’ll post it later…  I don’t think anyone has ever looked back on pictures of their children and not been glad to have them.  But back to the business at hand… ha ha…

Yep, it was a birthday session but we also threw in a couple of outfit changes and no way could we leave out Lily’s big sister, Ms Hannah!  I’ve watched Hannah grow too…  she’s definitely not the shy little 3 year old that I first met!  And I’d bet one day I’ll have to hire her as my assistant!  She’s always wanting to set up shots… it’s absolutely precious!

I had lots of fun with Mr. S & Mr. DL!    I just wanted to share a few of my favorites.  It was so hard to pick these… I found myself drawn to the big smiles and sweet grins and boy, did they have lots of those!

Baby lotion & remote controls…. yes, they are there.  But they’re not the most important things in these images.  My babies are!  I took a break from proofing today to capture some moments.  Moments in my life that I’ve been missing out on.  I’m not sure that I always capture personalities, but it’s what I strive for.  Sure, I love the images where everyone has that genuine smile and it’s all aimed right at the camera.  But this is them… Savannah, Alex & Sadie sitting on the couch just being them.

Savannah is a little Momma to Sadie.  She’s really helping me a lot this summer when I’m working.  I’m so thankful that I’ll always have these memories of them *playing* together.

Savannah has really gotten better about running when I get my camera out.  Really… who could blame them.  When I was first learning as much as I could about photography, I took their pictures ALL the time!   But Alex is still my shy one…  though he did eventually come around.
