Savannah is 11 and Alex is 8... they grew up with my camera always aimed at them and it takes a little bribing to get them in front of it now! :) I say that I am blessed to have 3 precious children, but the truth is that I am just plain blessed! I love what’s *real*! And these are definitely real… total and complete childhood. Nothing beats it! I will add my favorite individual shots tomorrow… expect lots of those too!
Yes, it does… time flies. I was looking at shots from this little guy’s session almost 2 years ago and he’s not a baby anymore! And I have the pictures to prove it! See how much Ames has grown…
We’ve had a crazy few weeks! School started back and that has been such an adjustment! (mostly for me… the kids are fine with it! hahaa) I also held my first mini sessions of the year last week! Look for images from those soon… I’ll be starting those edits this week! I learned a few things from them… mostly about myself. I might could control the time of the session (which I don’t normally do), but I STILL can’t control my clicks! It’s looking like most mini session clients will get way more than promised. Yes, I admit it… I’m an overshooter!! I get started with these kids with HUGE personalities and I just love it! I can’t stop! Each child is different, each expression and glimpse of their little personality is different… no way I can narrow those down more than I already do!
Shane and I were on our way to Greenwood to deliver an order this last week and we were commenting on how nice it was outside. We checked the temp at it was 92! Can you imagine thinking that 92 is “cool”!? But in Mississippi when the humidity isn’t so bad and there is a breeze blowing, 92 is downright pleasant! hahaa… I’m really beginning to look forward to Fall and we’re booking more and more sessions from now until Christmas! So, I’m playing “catch up” today and I already see that my to-do-list is too long for a 24 hour period. 
I have 7 sessions to edit and if yours is one of them, I promise I’m working on them! …having a blast looking at all these ADORABLE kids!!! I was ordering proofs and ran across this one that I had forgotten about… LOVE her expression and wanted to share!
GC: “Did you get me laughing?!” Me: “Yes, I did!” Georgia Caroline and I had a GREAT time at the start of her session with her baby sister! We shot some natural light images just before the rain started. I had to peek at her session… I can’t wait to edit it! They are beautiful little girls!!!
Laughter… it truly is GREAT medicine!
She is totally and completely her Daddy’s girl! ♥
